Lots of people I know are testing positive for Covid in multiple US states. Keep some tests in the house! I had a very mild case a few years ago that felt like a cold, so other than additional quarantining, I treated it like a mild cold. I went back to my (very stressful) life as soon as I felt better. And within two weeks, I lost control of motor function in my extremities and a bunch of other weird symptoms. 1/2 #covid #longcovid #postviral

There is so much we don't know about post-viral issues except that they are very common with Covid (and EBV/mono and others!) Anecdotally (from my experience and in too many LC forums) many people experience onset of post-viral issues after trying to go "back to normal" too quickly. Ain't worth it! I cannot stress enough how "mild" my acute covid symptoms were, and I ended up having to quit my job. Take a test! Rest extra! No rushing! (I say in a capitalist world, I know) 2/2
