So where are we? Parliament amended the Council position from first reading in its second reading (because the encryption amendments were adopted). Now, Council can accept it, and then this is it. If Council does not approve the amendments within three months, we go to Conciliation Committee and 3rd reading. I expect the Council to approve the encryption amendments, because this is language already agreed in the negotiations on the long-term Regulation. (8/X)
