A few months ago the EU Commission announced their Passenger Package proposal for improving rail travel. We’ve been talking to experts and analysing it closely. If you missed it, you can read our quick summary: https://erpu.eu/en/the-eus-rights-and-ticketing-proposal-explained. 1. Will in-person sales also benefit from the new rules on ticket availability? This is first a question of accessibility. But, what makes this issue especially pressing is that the EU Commission’s proposal makes passenger rights contingent on how tickets were purchased. We want to make sure that those who don’t buy their tickets digitally have not only the same options but also the same rights as those that do. [image: Jebulon] (2/8)
