Oh Costco, how do I hate thee? Let me count the ways. One is for your customers' complete lack of situational awareness, not to mention basic manners. Two is for the customers who wait until they are at the greeter to get their ID out. Three is for the people who take exactly two steps past the greeter to only stop and put their ID away. Four is for the aggressive vendors who constantly try to sell me a new cellphone/new windows/new Cutco brand knives/etc. Five is for how your stores are basically designed to cause traffic jams. Six is for how your free sample distributors are placed in such a way as to aggravate already congested areas. Seven is for the absolutely insane, free for all experience that is finding a line for checkout. Eight is for your ludicrously pointless self checkout. You are a warehouse store, half the items you sell are too heavy for the scale and require an employee to hand scan it for you. Nine is for the receipt checkers, causing even more congestion as I attempt to flee the store. Ten is for the intentional relocation of items. Put the K-cup coffee with the rest of the fucking coffee and leave it there for fuck's sake! Yes, I realize almost all of these boil down to, "Your customers are rude as fuck." But it is the store's design that causes and amplifies this shitty behavior. But, cheap prices..... quality beef..... decent pizza. In this economy, I guess I have to tolerate it.
