I couldn’t recall the name of the Supreme Master, founder of the Quan Yin method, franchiser of vegan restaurants that uses a rather memorable yellow in some of their branding, various other accolades. So I searched for “vegan cult,” and was rather amused that the first hits were for the Zizians, a branch of rationalist that identify as “vegan anarchotranshumanists,” and linked to six murders, so far. Good stuff, happy to see that the phrase is now more likely to be associated with effective altruist weirdos than cheap, good food (with a side of cult TV as background noise).
