@wdormann@infosec.exchange @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org yeah, while I like the control flame gives you, induction does it just as well (assuming they don't have shitty touch controls that do random shit when they get wet or spattered) and also does things like boil water CRAZY fast.

@lerxst@az.social @wdormann@infosec.exchange @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org Good induction gives you that. Those cheap plug-in induction cookers, or cheap ranges just continuously switch between full blast and off (and not very fast), which is probably why many people don't like induction.
