I figured Friday morning was actually a good time for my injection day, so I have now done my first injection!
The first time I drew the liquid in to the syringe I ended up with a big air bubble and not enough liquid after I ejected the air, so I had to reinsert it into the vial. Probably not recommended but I'll try not to make that mistake next time.
I didn't feel the needle much although it took more pressure than I expected to break the skin. I put it straight in at a 90 degree angle. The injection site was sore for a few minutes after but there was no blood.
I injected 0.1ml (10 units on the syringe) which is a 4mg dose.
Now I will have to remember not to take my tablets since I've been doing that for nearly 7 months and it has become a habit.

@xorlou@lgbtqia.space You're braver than I am. Good job but scary I hear accidentally injecting air bubbles can kill.
