    @yngmar@social.tchncs.de, CEE 7/1 socket, I guess? Apparently, banned in some countries, but obviously not in Lithuania since they're still both manufactured and sold. The wiring in old apartment blocks built during the soviet era typically only has Neutral and Live wires. There's nothing to connect the PE to (a simple workaround is to connect PE to the Neutral wire), maybe that's why these sockets are still not banned and are actually being sold. Plus, they're typically less bulky because they don't need the recess. By the way, of the two plugs that are plugged into it, at least the white one seems unearthed (and I suspect the black one isn't either), so the PE contact wouldn't do much here anyway. Still, using a socket with a proper IP rating wouldn't hurt.
