I've had a weird false memory for years about a fairground ride called the Spritzer that I saw several times as a young kid. It's a type of ride called a Miami, and I always remembered it as being slightly larger than other rides of the same type and having two rows of seats instead of the standard single row. Well this week I found some photos of it, and it looks exactly as I remember except that of course it has only one row of seats and looks to be completely standard, albeit quite distinctively decorated with multi-colour seats two painted slogans, and a particularly nice title sign, all exactly as I remembered them. Apparently it's still touring, but with a different owner and different artwork. My guess is that I probably mixed it up with rides like the Huss Rainbow, that have a similar movement but are significantly larger and do have multiple rows of seats. My local fair had one called the Sidewinder, but I've never been able to find any photos of that particular machine online.
