Live your values, even when those around you are being hateful.
This isn't a complicated concept to understand.
Bryce Harper has taken a very public stance against racism.
Flaco Lopez has made public statements against racism too.
They've both been attacked by their own fans for it. They both don't care. Because their principles are more important.

Supposedly, USA loves to celebrate white Christian men that don't care what other people think, and that just speak their mind, even if they sometimes say the wrong thing.
Then why don't we celebrate when they push in this direction?

@mekkaokereke@hachyderm.io it's a great question to ask them, since the rest of us all know damn well what the answer is. I'd love to see one of them try to justify it but I won't hold my breath.
