hey before I chain together like six things in a shell script, is there an extant process analyzer that will give me the syscalls invoked and the files altered when running a given binary?

this is one of those things that's necessary for a specific thing but which I'm realizing is a utility that would have potentially been useful a bunch in the past, so I figured I'd check if someone else has done this
