@Epic_Null@infosec.exchange @31113@kolektiva.social Removable storage doesn’t get you the data either if it’s encrypted with a key that is already erased. And no, you can’t copy that key easily, because on all decently designed phones it’s in a secure processing part of the phone. This doesn’t make it impossible to get to the data, but your best bet is to find a software vulnerability.
