@evilcookies98@mastodon.stickbear.me It does indeed. And yeah, I dealt with a LOT of parents like yours when I was a readers' advisor in Washington. I had to explain to them that if their kids ordered something, we sent it, and any issues the parents had with it weren't our concern. Parents hated that, especially the extremely religious ones...But, as part of the library system we were under, that was the deal. Admittedly, I was a little uncomfortable when a 12-year-old subscribed to Playboy in braille, but again, we couldn't stop him...That was between him and his parents.

@countrymetalhead@someplace.social Wait a minute, what? Have never understood the appeal of content like that. I mean I don't even know what's in the darn thing. I know it's supposed to be wildly inappropriate but I don't go in for content like that. If there's something in a book I'm already reading that's one thing, but I don't go chasing books just for that kind of content. No thanks
