@veronica@explains.social @norbipeti@toot.norbipeti.eu I'm just not familiar with the different app packaging and distribution methods on Linux. I'll get their in the end 😆👍 It just seems like 4 different committees came up with 5 different ways to package and distribute apps. Some might work on any particular distro, some might not, or may not be recommended or whatever. Comming from a MS-DOS and Windows background since the 1980's it all seems frankly unnecessarily complicated. Pick one or two methods and stick with it would have been so my easier for those of us from the Second aAge of Middle Earth 😆
