the best posters often have very very terrible political opinions
i see a lot of dunking on so called apolitical people, like everything's their fault, if only they not only became political -- wait not like that, the right kind of political -- then the world wouldn't be in the shape it's in, and maybe that's true to a certain extent, that by in large greater political participation is good, but then I also think it's a sign of maturity or soical responsibility to admit you don't know something, or don't know enough to take a strong stand and defer that topic to others more qualified, the fallacy there is that there is no special class of people who have it figured out, and that such modest types are often much more advanced than the self appointed experts, but I see a lot of people make the oposite mistake, like they got radicalized yesterday and now take a political stance on everything without knowing very much and sow a liot of confusion and start a lot of pointless arguments
as Mao said "no investigation no right to speak" but rights are kinda bullshit, and who decides what about or type of investigation is valid? idfk
