i try to understand programming beyond HTML and it just doesn't make sense to me at all. it's impossible to find any sort of entry point that doesn't expect you to already be an advanced computer nerd.

@magicalgrrrl@indiepocalypse.social this isnt going to be good advice and i really wish i had good advice to give instead, but, the path i took was initially sitting down with a book about C and just going through it understanding it or not and over time it started making more sense and then id get bored of the book and want to make something myself, and from there its building on what i learned from the book and websearching recursively for finding out what to learn to do what i was imagining. building on that by reading other peoples code and trying to understand it. again this advice sucks and im really sorry i genuinely wish i knew some good way :/
