1) This is a good idea but...
2) It will never be implemented because platforms make all there money through various uses of that data they collect about users.
3) It would not protect kids against behavior of other users, some adults and some kids, on the platfroms.

Opium peddlers used to make all their money by getting people addicted to opium. We banned it. Of course, people still sell slaves and people still sell opium -- but not nearly so many. These bans at least partly work. The same could happen to data broking.
