Naw, let's just be clear on this point right - I never said the Guardian's US imprint was good, and I was not talking about the UK Guardian, which has "British media disease" throught and through, but rather the US IMPRINT of The Guardian - which might as well be an entire separate paper. See for example the vast discrepancy between how trans rights are handled in the UK edition and the US edition. The sad truth is the US Guardian imprint is "the best of a HORRIBLE MS media environment."
