    @quincy@chaos.social @tante@tldr.nettime.org Also anything designed to help with inspiration, creativity, or lateral thinking Tarot decks are one of my favorite tools to think about my current circumstances in a way I wouldn't ordinarily think, and they work precisely because I shuffle them before each use Likewise, I still love my story dice when I get stuck in a writing rut, or "encounter tables" to mix things up at D&D when the party doesn't know what to do next I don't necessarily do what the cards or dice tell me to do, but they force a lot of "Oh I hadn't thought about it like that" moments that are good for my creativity and inspiration overall
