@relistan@mstdn.social Hard to tell, the Altair for sure, others likely not. The point is, those prices are prohibitive for people actually studying those machines. People, who are used it back in the days, are getting extinct and this means those who are studying it in many years after the speculation bubble bursts can't talk to those former users anymore. There are no documents on the internet since there was nobody online back in the days and could ask in a forum how to do something. We lose a lot of knowledge and history this way and this bathers me the most.
