Fun Fact: The 1986 text adventure "Star Trek: The Promethean Prophecy" was written in FORTH -- MVP-FORTH 1.1 on the PC, and very likely fig-FORTH on the 6502.

Angelsoft/Mindscape published a series of text adventures written in Pascal -- Turbo Pascal 3.0 for PC, UCSD Pascal for the Apple ][. Several were licensed from popular books or films.
