I was frustrated by your statement as well, not because you're not allowed to feel that way or because you are wrong/a bad person, but because I hate what widespread AI usage leads to; even if you're not using AI yourself, you can't be sure as easily as before.
I too can't always tell, but at least here on the Fediverse I assume it's made by a human, unless I'm pretty sure it's not.

I start to realize the footprint/influence of my art on genAI is massive, its visible in very early model, ("high quality comic" labels), and more than 16 years of high resolution crawled and trained. esp. because all was CCBy and convenient to show visual in reviews and papers.
