One thing that really makes me sad when the first line of a repo’s readme has “with help from Claude” is the apparent diligence with “giving credit” to a nonexistent person, as if Anthropic doesn’t have immense disdain and ingratitude for the struggles and meaning of the work they ate. On top of that, it’s voluntary and free advertising. It’s like going out of your way to put “Made with the help of Microsoft 365” in the header of your documents. I cannot take someone like this seriously, but it crushes my soul all the same.
