The number of people on Hackernews that do not understand that a community led project like Codeberg does not have to cater to their vims, that FOSS is inherently political, and that centralization of power on a platform like GitHub is not a good idea is honestly baffling.

It shouldn't be that hard to understand that a community can self-govern and decide what they want to allow on their platform. In this case a code forge they offer entirely for free, financed through donations.
