The European Commission has registered the ECI "Stop Killing The Internet: No Digital ID & No Age Verification" (22 July 2026). Registration = admissibility, not endorsement. And the initiative doesn't reject age verification: it asks that proving you're over 18 shouldn't mean full identification. Many safeguards already exist for the EUDI Wallet.
