I got the formal diagnosis for #autism last month and after reflection, here are some thoughts... Nothing fundamental changed about who I am (or how I am) because of a formal diagnosis; I've known nearly 5 years now how my mind works. What it does is allow me to forgive the failures of my younger self. To forgive the times I wasn't enough or wasn't able to live up to my own standards. (1/3)
