@tbortels@infosec.exchange @darkuncle@infosec.exchange Systems thinkers have always been rare and valuable. I’d like to see systems engineering in all disciplines get more attention. I think deep expertise will also be valuable for the indefinite future. There is no sign that AI can “understand” a discipline well enough to make a creative contribution that extends the field.

@meltedcheese@c.im @tbortels@infosec.exchange @darkuncle@infosec.exchange our personal belief is that the rarity of systems thinking is due, in large part, to capital not valuing it appropriately. formal education teaches specialization, not as some sort of accident but because that's what employers demand...
