I called some MEP offices previously.
Was told that they perceive mass emails as fake, possibly originating outside EU.
Told them that I know a lot of people who emailed, and that that feedback is not fake - but I'm sure one person calling will not have a sufficient effect.
Quite possibly one call is more effective than several hundreds of emails - and the more calls the more genuine the feedback will look seem.

@richlv@mastodon.social @Digol@mastodon.social if you send all the emails at once yes it is going to trigger some technical safeguards, I emailed them all individually. Also they are legally obligated to read the emails they are sent even if they do think they are fake. But I do agree - when I ran our Phorm campaign back in 2008/2009 we did everything by paper (mostly faxes) which cost them real money and people to process and so could not be ignored. But I am well known in Brussels and Parliament (registered lobbyist).
