I guess - people should use #AI with some context, understanding and use them not as an alternative to human workers, but as a tool, when given to capable humans who make right choices, increases the productivity and profit of the institutions. So, this is the first post with the tag : #wtfAI Need your genuine opinion on what you people think about AI. I just need to know about it's impact and popularity in current #society. 1) Is AI actually necessary for humans? We were already good before AI? Is it? 2) AI should be controlled and be put to use for only authorised people - because anyone with a bad intent can do some #TokenMaxxing - AI used as service for cyberattacks. 3) Other unanswered questions that you might have. (Like AI in #biotechnology) This is just for gathering opinions.

@__dreamwalker__@infosec.exchange 1) Technologically speaking, yeah, we got computers and ai now, we were insanely good. Now is ai needed? Idk, like there's some quite insane use for it (like the vulnerabilities fond in the Linux kernel, I don't think it's that much of a bad thing), and a lot of terrible things done with it (I mainly think of artists and genai). I feel like a lot of people just use it to do some tasks either cuz they're too lazy to do it, or they can't do it and are too lazy to learn how to do it. Like idk, vibe coding? As someone who codes, I'd feel very unsatisfied to create a program just by prompting it's description to some ai. Isn't all the fun in coding it by yourself?
