The Flying Bat Nebula and the Giant Squid (OU4) SH2-129 is a bright emission nebula in HII (hence its red color) about 1300 light years away in Cepheus. The 2d one ("the squid") is a beautiful planetary nebula which is ~1000 light years behind SH2-129. The image here is down-sampled for Mastodon.
