@david_megginson@mstdn.ca Every year we get our pumpkins for Halloween from a farm down the way we're friends with that just keeps their seeds every year, so they're all heirloom seeds. When we are done with them, we ceremoniously throw them off the deck onto the rocks behind our house to let the deer eat. Occasionally there are seeds left in them, and occasionally they grow. A couple of years back, we harvested five pumpkins from the hill behind our deck!
