@baldur@toot.cafe This is actually where I find LLMs having helped. I don't have the time (three kids ...) to spend on diving into new codebases as I once had when I get interested in something. However, using LLMs to do the initial probing of the problem domain and some of the scaffolding means I can spend the time that I do have on the parts that I enjoy. So, at least for me the advent of LLM aids have meant that I'm both having much more fun with my hobbyist coding as well as venturing outside of the areas I already know well both in languages and domains.
