For me the audio is desynced and subtitles are completely broken. :(

Oh weird. I would guess a transcoding issue, maybe double check those settings to make sure you have the right config for your hardware. Theres also Infuse, its a video player that supports jellyfin, but I think some features are behind a premium purchase.
