I’ve been up the scaffolding today to look at the roof. It’s a long way up! I’m ok when I’m up but I am not keen on going up and down the ladder. Slightly regretting that I’ve said I’ll redo some of the pointing while we have the scaffolding here.
I expect the slates will all be off by the time I get back from Australia and we’ll have a clearer idea of what’s going on underneath 🫣.

@helenclayton@mas.to Well done. I found that I was fine climbing out of a window onto the scaffold, but less fine with a ladder. Though I was getting used to being on the scaffold at different heights doing the pointing. When I had a scaffold tower there would be days when I would climb straight up, and then days when I just couldn't get up at all. Same with our very tall ladders. Days when I could, and days when I couldn't.
