For what it’s worth, they already have a CLI for linux. It’s a horrible user experience, but it does allow for some amount of access and integration if you’re fine with writing a few scripts.

It’s the first I’ve heard of the CLI, maybe they only had a limited announcement? I probably won’t use it and wait for the full client though anyway. Syncthing with a windows VM seems to work for now.
