@Ember@blobfox.coffee @joepie91@fedi.slightly.tech Yes absolutely. For certain accessibility needs, working "muscle memory" is critical. Forcing people to abandon and relearn that is an assult on accessibility.

@dalias@hachyderm.io @Ember@blobfox.coffee I am once again reminded of the Yahoo blogpost that nobody else seems to remember, about how they completely banned UI overhauls - you could present a new UI design, sure, but you'd *also* have to present a ton of incremental steps to get from the current design to the new one, because you were never allowed to change more than one tiny, easy-to-adjust-to thing at a time. If you've ever wondered why so many older people kept using Yahoo services until the heat death of the universe, well, there you go
