@jo@infosec.exchange @tillybridges@mastodon.social no i dont. and on top of that the author blocked me instead of having an actual discussion about why i believe this which doesn’t seem very “author-like”. if you want to make writing your career would you not want to learn more about what other people think? anyways, i don’t agree with you because i believe being an author in the first place is a privilege. i know trans people that would literally be shot dead in their country for SAYING theyre

@pri@cyberplace.social Have you considered ways to distribute books that don't take money out of the author's pockets? How about buying books and sending them to libraries? Working out agreements with services like Libby/OverDrive, (for the general public) or The Wikipedia Library (for academics/researchers)? I'm not saying you personally have the capacity to do these things, but like, you could connect with LGBT orgs who do.
