Interesting, thank you for sharing your experience.
I was interested a while by the EE17 but f/1.7 with zone-focus is a bit disapointing... 1.7 must generate a short deph of field and I cant imagine a zone-focusing system precise enough to handle it...

@Glorya.Johanne I certainly wouldn't trust my guessing abilities with f/1.7, but I rarely use a camera with a lens wide open beyond testing optical performance. Zone Focusing works best with the lens stopped down to f/8 or smaller.
