@shadower@mastodon.social @rotopenguin@mastodon.social @xyla@shitpost.trade it is a bit more. I did the Gnome AE to BE translation for many years, 80% was s/ize/ise/ and adding -u-. But there was quite a bit of rewording for voice and tense.
Also when USAians verb nouns they usually verbize them instead of verbing them. Don't get me started on the juggling I needed for fixing "ellipisisize".
