How is he supposed to communicate with the world without a phone? How is he supposed to ask for help without a phone? Without a phone, he will be forced to pay 40–50% fees for cash withdrawal. Even less money than now will reach him. Let's prevent that he'll be forced to sell his phone and buy it back later at a high price.
