@Linux_in_a_Bit@infosec.exchange I would use Debian for stability, Fedora for support and Arch for up2dateness. Where would OpenSuse go? They have a nice mascot, there is that.

@primeapple@polymaths.social @Linux_in_a_Bit@infosec.exchange Honestly, I think OpenSuSE is a better all-around suggestion than Arch for a rolling-release distro, especially now that the AUR is... well... the AUR. It's not a package manager. It's not even a ports repo. It should be eyed with the same suspicion as curl somethingscary.example.com/totallynotahack.sh |sudo sh. Of course I'm not saying that there's anything nefarious about the AUR itself. It's created and maintained with the best of intentions. But it simply cannot be blindly trusted, and once you remove the AUR factor, Arch's selection of packages is pretty paltry in comparison to something like OpenSuSE or Debian.
