No, it was started on a state by state basis with Nebraska and South Dakota being the first states to fully outlaw in 1975. en.wikipedia.org/…/Marital_rape_in_the_United_Sta… It wasn’t until 1993 until is was considered rape in all the states. Still to this day though marital rape is treated differently in some states.
