It's based on a game that's abandonware, now. https://www.myabandonware.com/game/rebel-moon-7qw A colony on the moon declares independance from the earth and they have to fight a war to become their own separate nation, it's really cool. I like scifi and fantasy that focuses on a regular guy. I also like the red dwarf books for the same reason.
