y'all I don't get it. The unlimited hype of LLMs and yet, the marketed "wins" are soooo boring. "It found a security vuln!" ... did it also fix it? no?
"I used it to fix a bug in curl and send a patch!" why are you using *any* dependencies at all? Isn't this text generation machine capable of just whole-cloth writing exactly what you want?
"I ported my large project from Zig to Rust for memory safety!" !??!?! why does your llm generate memory unsafe code? Did you forget to tell it "do not write memory unsafe code" ??
I'm so confused by all of these wild claims. I mean, I get that it probably is fun to use but... so many are out here pretending we have replicators from Star Trek and the best we can imagine is use it to sew buttons back onto our jackets or change the color of our socks?

@whack@hachyderm.io I was able to generate the first 80% of a project twice as fast, allowing me more time to spend on the second 80%!
