#Gardening and #Bloomscrolling question:
I have had three plants with scale in the last few months. Any advice on how to deal with it? I have found some tips on the internet but would like to hear from people. And any suggestions on how to avoid it to begin with?

@CindyWeinstein@zirk.us Plant diverse native plants to attract wildlife that will take care of plentiful pests, and generally rewild at least some of your yard by leaving leaf litter etc. Pests may remain, but if your yard is sufficiently welcoming to wildlife, parasitic wasps etc. will find any pest that's growing out of control and use it for their own purposes. When I moved into my house, scale was out of control on my hydrangeas. Now there are many native plants and very few scale insects.
