It's SPOOKTOBER! I've decided to use this month to turn some of my pictures into a mishmash of bright orange, desaturated teal and no perceived greens, by re-developping them with #ansel. I want some menacing atmosphere, some pumpkin mood and Geiger counter tops, without the feeling that I just pushed the hue slider by 70° and called it a day. I want the pictures to feel real. If you don't know, http://ansel.photos is a hard fork of #darktable with a different design philosophy and leadership style. I've been using it frequently over the last month and am open to fully switch over (a difficult thing to do as the softwares have been incompatible by design for a few years now) At the end of the month I'll do a recap post to compare the original photos (often very green and lush) with the heavily modified ones, as well as some things I've learned along the way.
