Linking health outcomes to genetic risk does NOT mean that anyone is to “blame”.
When I was diagnosed with MS, my Mom said she felt like it was her fault in some way.
Of course it’s not. It’s a spin of the roulette wheel. Direct one gene->one outcome situations aren’t all that common.

The habit of assigning “blame” to carriers of certain genetic alphabets leads only to the darkest places imaginable. Equally, the idea that “superior” genes are the cause of good outcomes is deeply flawed. It is unlikely that Trump is still alive because of his genes. It’s because of his money.
