I’d either go with a Debian derivative (or Debian) or a red hat derivative (or red hat). Or suse I guess. At a time like this it would be bad to approve of or recommend some weirdo mess. Just crawl on board one of the big boats till the waves die down a bit.

your choices only share a debian core, otherwise they couldn’t be more different from one another. netrunner is an opinionated debian base running kde on xlibre. vanilla is gnome, on a unique debian-based immutable. there will be a learning curve. personally, i think there are better choices for whatever is attracting you to these two… debian, kde, gnome, immutables…
