@testobsessed@ruby.social As for hypocrisy, my perhaps overly generous sense is that folks are able to make distinctions that justify judging one situation one way and another situation another way. “This is different because .” As far as I can tell, the distinctions don't have to be coherent to anyone else. Or perhaps even to the person making them. 🤷🏽‍♂️ The simplest thing that will restore the (personal) old status quo?
