Back before I moved back to my hometown I went to visit my parents and remembered just staring at the stars one night while I was there. Where I was living at the time had too much light pollution to see any stars most nights, so going home where the Milky Way was clearly visible nearly all the time made me realise just how much I'd missed it. It occurred to me a few days later that Wev would likely feel similarly, having lived most of her life on deep-space ships and on isolated planets, then moving onto the Bektep Space Station where there's no true sky visible at all. When she finally leaves the station with Xari, I imagine she would probably have a similar moment. I've been sitting on this idea for a drawing for over a year now and I only just got around to actually drawing it but I'm really happy with how it ended up turning out. #Alien #Scifi #Fantasy #Furry
